[bodytext] => Through the fog, hate's danger calls
Stumbling forward, bouncing off walls
Running in bog so murderously thick
Must go faster before death strikes quick
Breathing shallow as my lungs gurgle
Steps slow as I face each barren hurdle
Lost in time with no idea of when or where
Must rest, though I know I mustn't dare
Hear growls as earth is being crushed
Desperate for respite softly hushed
Clasp hands over swollen burnt ears
Must stop to destroy these dark fears
Is it but a dream that my soul can't face?
What brought on this hellish horrid race?
In what point of time did I cross this path?
Must stand and fight with glory's wrath
Straining to hear its final death pounce
Threatening to drain life's every ounce
Determination to end this crazy fight
Must defeat hate's dark with love's light
Standing straight with it, face to face
It stops to stare as I remain in my place
Fearless hope causes it to shrink away
Must smile as love has won another day
