I'm sitting there thinking deeply
Watching the wind blow the meadow of gold
It's such a beautiful site to see
The meadow gently rocking back and forth

I lean my head back on a rock
Then I slowly close my eyes
I hear something in the distance
I look at the leafy forest ahead
I see a doe and her baby
They are eating some berries

I look at the setting sun
And I decide it's time to go home
I slowly get up and bid a goodbye
I go down that dusty path to home
I stop to look at the deer once more

It's late May 5:00 in the afternoon
The sun is shining magnificently orange
I'm sitting there thinking deeply
Watching the wind blow the meadow of gold
It's such a beautiful site to see
The meadow gently rocking back and forth

I lean my head back on a rock

I look at the setting sun
And I decide it's time to go home
I slowly get up and bid a goodbye
I go down that dusty path to home
I stop to look at the deer once more
Then I departure from my meadow of gold
