[title] => The Sea of Life
[time] => 2013-03-02 23:21:18
[hometext] => A new perspective on the course of life.
[bodytext] => I'm captain of a sailing ship,
The path of life my sea.
I gaze ahead, horizon bound,
Unsure what course should be.
Against my hull crash countless waves,
Splitting board from board.
Yet still I press on toward my sights,
To waters unexplored.
From the depths a monster comes,
Rearing ugly head,
Representing through its roar
Emotions once unsaid:
The fear of things which futures shroud;
The pain of labors long;
The doubt of new experience;
The shame of choices wrong.
As cannons blaze against my foe,
I dread the worst to come,
But soon it sinks beneath the foam:
The battle fought and won.
At that which was not known before,
My mind a small glimpse stole.
A new course shall I aim to set,
To reach my final goal.
