It's 1 a.m. the morning after.
Our home is filled with laughter.
We start our new life together.
We will be happy forever.
I came to fetch you yesterday.
Feelings in my heart my mind running away.
As you emerged from our home.
It's then I knew we would never again be alone.
You graced the foot path and came through the gate.
This my darling is a special date.
Our kids were bubbling over with joy.
For mommy and daddy took hands like a girl and boy.
They see us so deeply in love.
Our hearts floating on a cloud so high above.
Now they surely see.
The endless love between you and me.
This makes them feel safe and secure.
When you look in their eyes it’s there for sure.
You my love look so beautiful.
My heart was sing a song so joyful.
You are the only one for me.
This my darling you must see.
You gave me the most precious gift.
I must admit my self-esteem got a lift.

A new dawn has come.
What God ordained is done.
