[title] => Walk of Fame 4 - Chelsea Piers
[time] => 2012-10-06 13:55:56
[hometext] => Poetry inspired by places that I travel to by myself. This poem is for Chelsea Piers, one of the most beautiful places in New York City
[bodytext] => What's haapnin Chelsea, told you I'd be back
That I'd spend a day with you and so you can hear me rap
Hope life for you has been swell
Because for me it's been hell
Hope you've been treating these tourists well
They paid good money to see you
Hell, I paid $4.50 to see you
Well listen to me...
I said that like I paid an arm and a leg
You'd be suprised how hard it is for me to get carfare
I know, I sound retarded but yeah
I'm not a star yet
This Joe is still average
Considered a nobody when people pass him
Yet still manage to put people's egos past him
Some act like they never met so they still asking
Donavan, who that is?
You see the kid carrying his dreams in his notebook, that's him
Always staying to himself
Even when he wants to be with everyone else
He's still searching the sky
He hasn't found the sun yet
He believes he hasn't found his way with words for nothing
So give him credit, it shows he believes in something
Outta breath but he keeps running
Chasing his dreams til the day he succeeds
When his momma calls, that's the day he should leave
Wow Chelsea...I swear you're the prettiest when the sun sets
And how your waters sparkle from the sunlight, that one's the best
But it's bout that time for me, I hate to leave you alone
But it's getting late so I gotta make my way home
Stay beautiful...
And I'll see you when I see you
