She used to hug me so often
And I would hug back.

"Hug me tighter,
Don't let go."

She used to be my shield,
My protector
And precious caretaker.

"Help me,
I know I can count on you.'

But...
We lost that.
She betrayed me.

"How could you...?
He was my friend!"

My brother,
In his own way,
He helped her.

"How dare you...
How can you toss him away!
He was family!"

My father...
He didn't do much.
He wasn't there.
He made me worry more.

"You're saying he's...dead?
Would mom do that?"

"Why?
I can't tell you anything.
When I try to,
And I'm just about to cry,
I have to stop talking,
Because I know you'll only get angry
If I shed
One tear."

None of you cared.
None of you. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 193 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Ensis718 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry ) Your Poetry Dot Com - Discarded
