These dry lips
Having tasted love
You committed bliss
Fly you dove

Our memories together
Like romantic rendezvous
They last forever
Feels so miraculous

Torched love letter
Flying little ash
Get well, you better
What you burned is now trash

You aren't cruel
Just that it would ease the pain
Am I a fool?
Come the long heavy rain

Please, remember me
As I will remember you
You have made me free
I hold this to be true
