I read all kinds of poetry
as I visit here everyday
The Majority is certain sadness
so I try to find a way

To catch the ones attention
who has wrote of being sad
The ones who seem to doubt themselves
they're down & feeling bad

I know it's not my job
I know it's not my place
But I feel this urgency
To put a smile on every face

so if someone has left you
or just you're feeling blue
I know that I can't fix the pain
but for kicks try something new

bring yourself to this site
if for just a little while
I'm sure with the effort
you will find a smile

there is to much sadness in this world
we deal with everyday
so if you're attempting to make a smile
simple words might be the way

we have one thing in common
if for just a little while
when we bring our poetry to this site
we are trying to create a smile

I read all kinds of poetry
as I visit here everyday
