this was a feeling I thought I would carry to my very end.

The only girl I ever cared for,
hurt me to my very core.

She turned me down so many times,
and she was the inspiration for so many of my rhymes.

But now I have moved on and am looking for a new girl,
and I'll try my best to get with her and make her my world.

I thought she was the only one I could ever love,
but i am sure an angel will drop down from somewhere from above.

I just hope she don't turn me down,
so I don't have to live my life with a frown.

It's sad,
my first love I could never have.
I still have feeling for her,
and when I think of her,
my eyes start to blur.

Every time I look to the skies,
I see her beautiful eyes.

When I gaze out in space,
there lingers her lovely face.

I hope to find some one new,
So I can make this pain disappear like the mornings dew,

If ever I find love again,
I hope I'll be able to take it to my very end. I never thought I would find love again,
this was a feeling I thought I would carry to my very end.
