Nobody wants the real reality
Unless they're watching Jersey Shore
Nobody really wants to be poor
Everybody tries to ignore
The fact that 60% of this world is probably poor
And the fact of the matter is people just want more and more sovereignty
Not that that's bad
That's something we all wish we had
I'm just a tad annoyed how it's always about us
Not about them
Them as in the child that sewed the hem of your shirt
Them as in the people that get hurt in wars
Them as in the girls that are sold into being whores
Them as in the people who are victims of hate and rape
Them as in the people who have not had peace where they're from to date
Those are the people who don't mess with fate
And those are the people who I appreciate
It's hard to even contemplate the rate at which our minds are being brainwashed
It's hard to even think that people have to wait in line for hours just for 6 ounces of water
It's hard to even imagine that babies are dying due to starvation and dehydration
Life is hard...
