[title] => THE POET AND THE PAINTER
[time] => 2012-02-03 04:17:59
[hometext] => In this poem I like to show the similarities that exist between, poetry and painting.
[bodytext] => They both start off with a sheet of white,
One using a pencil, the other a brush,
One using colour, the other words,
To obtain a picture in image and verse.
The greens, the blues, the reds, the lights,
They are all present in black on white.
The sun shining from behind a cloud,
A cat chasing its tail around,
A ship sailing into the night,
Everything possible, both mediums right.
With every brush stroke, with every line,
Creating an artwork, for one's delight.
