THE LOVE LADDER

Baby, oh Baby,
Won’t you look outside tonight?
Come and see the starlight bright,
And from your balcony take delight,
As you climb on down my ladder, to me!
Baby, oh Baby,
Open your window just for me love,
While I‘m looking for you above.
I’ll serenade with songs for thee,
If you’ll climb down my ladder to me!
Baby, oh Baby,
I’ll toss some pebbles at the glass,
For you to open up the sash.
I want for you to be my lass.
So please climb down my ladder, to me!
Baby, oh Baby,
I place my life within your hands.
I wish to always be your man.
Without you I can’t be free,
So please climb down my ladder, to me!
Baby, oh Baby,
I will catch you in my arms.
If you fall there’ll be no harm.
I’m enraptured by your charms.
We’re waiting, my ladder, and me!
