who wonders through the nite,,
searching for the things he needs,,
searching for you,,

can't seem to find the switch,,
to turn the lights on,,
hopeing that mommy and daddy will be there,,
can't reach it,,
can't find mommy and daddy,,

wondering through the house,,
he trys to find someone,,
someone who tell him good-nite,,
or even give him a glass of water,,
no one there,,

he sits there and cries,,
not loud,,but a soft whim,,
where is my mommy and daddy,,
where's my big brother,,
no ones there,,

he finds his way back into his room,,
crawls back in bed,,
hides his head underneath the blankets,,
crying himself to sleep,,
no one comes in to see him,,

the man wakes up,,
see's things diffrently,,
he's not a child anymore,,
he got use to being alone,,
not by choice,,he wanted his family,,

now that he's has a family,,
he doesn't desert his children,,
as his parents did,,
he has learned from them,,
to cherish the child,,
