That of a foolish genius trekking the vast blue over yonder
His intentions are depicted within the sheath at his waist
Along with his confidant going by the name of Daniels
And of course his vanity shown through every bead
Finishing off every braided and strand

His countenance is one of jest and game
Expressed through the charcoal finish on two beady eyes
And a mocking grin; one that overstays it's welcome
Many enemies these features bring about as he even knows
Yet such a mastermind mimics naïveté to prove his craftiness

A mistake in the map turns into the crew's miracle
For the clash of golden grails pours blessings from Heaven
And all know they have found the treasure the enemies looked for
Still the genius behind this turning down may look like a fool
Realizes that luxuries can seem nice yet can be abused
This leader then is then judged by his mates both bad and good
But looking at himself he sees his acts of foolery were genius [comments] => 1 [counter] => 98 [topic] => 31 [informant] => Deidra_Carmichael [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => StoryPoetry ) Your Poetry Dot Com - Foolish Genius

One look through the spyglass reveals his physique

This leader then is then judged by his mates both bad and good
But looking at himself he sees his acts of foolery were genius
