As I stand here
I’m right in front of you
Though you stare blindly

Soon you'll see
You've become astray
I tried to guide you
You went your own way

I won't follow
I won't fight for you
I won't look back
I won't regret
I won't forget

As we go our separate ways
I'll take time to remember you
It's not the way I wanted it
I'll always be here

You won't come back
It could never be
The only thing I ever wanted
