you never notice me
I keep to myself
in my hideaway,
I survive quietly
avoiding the human touch
the sensation
causes to much pain.
I had a love
who was
oh so sweet
and slowly that all changed....
and
something started to hurt.

It hit me hard
when suddenly
you're saying you don't want me
our love was all an act
another you really adored,
you were the one
I was so in love with
just last night
you said you'd never let me go,
now your laughter
is all I remember
as you slammed the door....
And
that really hurt.

Time had passed
and my soul was slowly healing
now you're back
saying you need me once more,
but I'm cold like metal
so oblivious to you
it's your turn
to be ignored...
And
I hope it hurts.

I'm undercover
you never notice me
