wherever you want to go
if away from here is want you want
ill walk you through the snow
im on your back i need a lift
but must i pay a toll
i hear its rough from dawn till dusk
and i dont see a road
see this i have is a heart
it used to warm the soul
it runs on love just fill it up
and the path begins to show
how long it takes is up to you
just say the words to go
and if it makes it better
i wont leave you in the cold
me and you begin to walk
along the trail together
not just cold heaven knows
ill walk through any weather
grassy hills and mountain tops
pass as we proceed
the sun is raining through the clouds
and pouring through the trees
the piercing wind transforms in flight
and turns into a breeze
footsteps in the sand
reaveal the lives we choose to lead
treading shallow fire as we run into the sea
we keep on pressing forward
until the air begins to sting
blisters grow like paracites
and i cant feel my feet
we must be strong and put it out
before it starts to breathe
and just like that the fires gone
and autumn sheds its leaves
up ahead looks scary
as the shadows dance and howl
just stay close and well proceed
they will not scare this fellow
we press along the line of trees
me eyes begin to scowl
up ahead i see the light
as seasons reconcile
we'll walk along this road again
for we been gone awhile
its my time to go for now
my love there's no denile
i'll be back for you someday
till then i'll sit and smile
sitting on a cloud in heaven
