[hometext] => A poem about a little boy, helpless in the streets.
[bodytext] => His jar lay empty
Not even a penny
Nothing close to a dime
For no one had the time
The little boy sits
While his stomach throws fits
He tries to forget
His father's stupid bet
Now he's alone
On the streets without a home
Not a caring soul in sight
None of this seems right
He holds his breath to wait
For the chilling hands of fate
As he slowly dies from hunger
He realizes that no longer
A helpless boy in need
Destroyed by his own father's greed
He is just himself
That is all he'll ever be.....
