[hometext] =>
[bodytext] => Westerly guidance in steady tread
Fleeting soles and mind
Braving elements harsh and cruel
A gilded edge to find
Serpents seek my fortune same
Masked with welcome paint
Venom ready behind the guise
To steal my coveted blade
A weapon of magnificence
Beauty power and delight
Bestowing upon the employer
Fortification against the night
Forces evil do conspire
To snare my steady stride
I carry with me the dreams anew
Of those who know not to hide
I fend off forces unseen
Young optimism still has life
Aged wisdom eat at hope
With bitter enduring strife
Time can steal out smiles
And shift out driving force
Whats important changes overnight
As we follow our course
We no longer see the little things
We become concerned about the news
Cartoons no longer have a place
I our grown up shoes
Youthful giggles and silly things
Combat the stressful day
No job or bills or car repairs
Just run and jump and play
Its up to me to protect youth
To keep their smiles bright
To help embrace life everyday
And not give in to the night
I carry the weight of the world
To show my children two
Of love hope and happiness
And dreams do come true
