[hometext] => dating again after 35 years
[bodytext] => At sixteen you date and it makes you flutter,
with every look and word thats uttered
You blush and stumble through your date
And watch the clock so it doesnt get late.
At eighteen you are wild and free
you try everything to some degree
nothing phases you as you cruise along
maybe your a little too headstrong
then at twenty three the prince appears
Life looks like it will be set for years
He goes down upon that bended knee
making you so very very happy
Time goes by kids, bills and pressures
long gone are the times of young pleasures
now the weight of the world is on your shoulders
and suddenly you feel so much older
you try to stay strong and keep it together
and think that things really would get better
but then a young girl catches his eye
and that is when things start to die
So parting company is just so hard
but that is one of lifes mean cards
then on your own you seem to be
and once again your totally free
its different now from years gone by
you confidence has gone awry
alone forever seems now the go
getting on track is such a blow
then one day out of the blue
someone pays the attention due
you wonder if this is a dream
maybe your youth you can redeem
He touches your hand, your heart just jumps
brushes your lips, your throat gets lumps
This isnt happening it is too surreal
That at my age how this makes me feel
So maybe now there is a second chance
to feel the love and also romance
who says there isnt life over that hill
and someone now my dreams fulfill
