After arriving at a certain stage
Pursuing further brings damage
Using contentment if we manage
We reap a great advantage

Why stomach develops paunch?
Greedy eating we eagerly launch
In moderation if we are staunch
Danger blows not its conch

By doing exercise too much
Our health turns poor not rich
Perfect health we can easily fetch
Via moderate exercise in life-pitch

Too much worry or anger
Will make us weak not stronger
They make us look old not younger
So please hold them no longer

Anything beyond the limits of moderation
Will rather have an unstable foundation
Let our lives face in nothing inundation
Or suffer in anything severe starvation

Control and tame your deep desire
For more and more do not aspire
View wisely excess as forest fire
Let greed in your heart now expire

Breeze may soon become storm
Tease may turn into hellish harm
Cease from worry and remain calm
Please find in moderation charm

More and more acquisition
Is not at all a wise decision
If that is in life your mission
Peace will ask for omission

Today end your dangerous greed
A peaceful life you can start to lead
Less and less if becomes your need
To help you Angels will jointly plead.
