As i close my eyes.
I let my senses speak.
As i begin to cry.

I hear a squeal of horror.
A child slips on the ground.
The mother runs over.
Scolding him about playing around.

I feel the moisture.
Seeping into my pores.
All the while my fingers.
Brush against doors.

My taste buds energize.
As my tongue run along my lips.
Waiting for that perfect moment.
When the drop is about to drip.

As i inhale.
The cold air travels to my lungs.
Penetrating my souls core.
Like a song that hasn't been sung.

I open my eyes.
Take the hoodie off my head.
Smiling with wonder.
And keep walking ahead.
