The tock of the clock and my rocking in tune
Rocking and waiting I hear the clock chime
Such an dreadful face, my enemy is time
I rise from my chair to go walk the hall
I find it the most empty and saddest of all
each room I pass with a new wave of sorrow
I glimpse lives living on time merely borrowed [comments] => 3 [counter] => 176 [topic] => 43 [informant] => SilentMuse [notes] => Please leave at least three comments for every poem you post.Thank you.
