Charity
A culture of evil, erected on broken spirits of the poor
Less fortunate then I, a cry heard all around the world
How much should I tithe, to what group should I give
Societies exist validated, by the poor and the needy
Charity is the lifeblood, of religions and societies
No matter their faults, or how much they enslave
Taking care of the poor and needy gives them a name
Made into false humans, and showered with praise
Rulers the world over, sit smugly on their thrones
Blaming the poor and needy for all of the wrongs
They bless all the charities, through out the land
Keeping people beneath them is part of the plan
If there is so much wealth in all the land
Why is not sharing part of our plan
the poor are thrown scraps from life’s table
And are forced like dogs, to sit up and beg
How much longer will we allow this insidious plan to exist?
Never allowing all humans to be equal in the land
For centuries the answer has always been known
with true human sharing ,we will never stand-alone.
