I still see you in my mind
On a meadow full of daisy
The setting is outlined
But the image’s getting hazy

I can’t remember Mona Lisa
Although I saw her yesterday
But in my mind I see your image
That feels a million years away

So long - now it feels weird
That an image is what remains
An image that is loved and feared
It is my engine and my chains

And then the meadow slowly fades
My mind is feeling crazy
I still can see some dreary shades
But the image’s getting hazy.

An Image getting hazy

I still see you in my mind
On a meadow full of daisy
The setting is outlined
But the image’s getting hazy

I can’t remember Mona Lisa
Although I saw her yesterday
But in my mind I see your image
That feels a million years away

So long - now it feels weird
That an image is what remains
An image that is loved and feared
It is my engine and my chains

And then the meadow slowly fades
My mind is feeling crazy
I still can see some dreary shades
But the image’s getting hazy.
