[hometext] => this is a poem my late grandma wrote, aged 82. it is a memory she had of my sister at 8 years old. so i give you this poem from Mrs Constance Briar Beecroft
[bodytext] => jumpy bouncy Hannah
astride her broomstick horse
rides with great agility
around her hickstead course
takin on the tricky jumps
we see her knobbly knees
up and over she does go
as hair blows in the breeze
strong young hands take control
at the five foot spread
broomstick always makes it
being so well bred
ridin on this pure white steed
is the greatest thrill
and just the thing for hannah
who never can keep still
it must be really lovely
to be just eight years old
living in the make believe
where ambition does unfold
