You ran away; sofarsofast, stillgone.
They chased you, scared you to never come back
I swore it was a nightmare, but with dawn -
Day breaks, and I have yet to see your face.

I ran you away; for all that you lack.
With me you tried, but could never keep pace
I gave you no option, sent you to pack -
I won't ever settle for boyslikeyou.

I ran away; like I'd run a race.
Barely even spared the breath to say adieu,
I couldn't take many more days inthatplace -
I may feel remorse but never regret.

You aren't coming back; can'ttakeit -
Stay Gone.
