A crescendo of emotion from deep inside
But my mind insists my heart must hide

The scars of a past that keep me at bay
Lost in a battle and unable to say
The fear of escape to show my heart
How I have felt from the very start

And to touch you I am like a child
To scream at the roof tops and go wild
And the part of me perhaps its fear
Wants to hold you and call you dear

Please stay with me teach me to know
And each new emotion I will show
So that you can truly see
How you have become part of me.

I am feeling things I don’t know
When I am with you they seem to grow
