Angry and shocked over your affair,
I guess you never really cared!
Half my life I spent with you,
I can't believe I was such a fool.
Working all day just to stay sane,
Keeping busy, trying to hide the pain!
I feel so hollow inside,
everything you said, it was all a lie.
Now my heart searches for release,
I'm so tired, God grant me peace!

Remembering everything we had,
I can't believe it hurts this bad.
So out of control my life has become,
I still can't get over what you've done!
My life,like my heart is all torn,
I sometimes wish I was never born.
Giving up is all I ever think of,
so alone with no one to love!
I still can't talk about it without crying,
it hurts so much, it feels like I'm dying!
And now my heart yearns for release,
I'm just so tired, God please grant me peace! As I sit here just wasting away,
