Nobody can be perfect
I tell myself over and over
But then I look into those hazel eyes
And everything I know melts away
And everything I’ve ever wanted is you
But I don’t deserve you, not right now

And all my insecurities disappear
And everything I’ve never had is in reach
But my arms aren’t long enough, not right now

And your eyes pull me out of reality again
And the world disappears from around me

Nobody can be perfect
I tell myself over and over
But then I look into those hazel eyes
