[hometext] => For some people you just do anything, hooked for a love that may never be, and you wait.
[bodytext] => When I asked her to smile she looked me in the eye
That’s when I saw her tear as she began to cry
I gave her a gentle hug to comfort her fears
And then a tissue to wipe away the tears
With soft words I offered her my hand
Taking her weight I helped her to stand
That’s when her smile really began to form
In that very moment lightening began the storm
And with a fierce wind rain began to pour
As a sudden gust blew open the door
In the doorway stood a tall handsome man
With her big smile to him she ran
So I departed feeling torn leaving them alone
Returning to my place to sit by the phone
And if again she rings I will be there
In hope that perhaps one day, for me she will care
