What if I said this time I dropped the dime..
..without a care ..without any whine..

What if I said this was some tasty [wine]..
What if I ..

What if I just spoke in broken sentences..
..slurred words without a care for grammatical differences..

What if I looked in the mirror and said this image isn’t speaking clearer..
..took some scissors and cut my hair just to see if I’d simply care..
::smiles:;

What if I ..
..changed today.. to become superficial tomorrow..
..to think that anyone would notice if I became a model..
::blank:;

What if I allowed myself.. to be the woman that I know I can be..
..simply stop hiding and show everyone the real me..
::stood up and walked away::

What if I ..
What if I just be me..
..as careful as I can be..
..as fearful as I sometimes am..
And as hidden as a Leprechaun’s .. little. . ..green .. clover. [in the sand?]

What if I were to close the book on reality..
..and just live my life like everybody..
