Dreams of ocean waves
crash white foam in my face
The smell of the briny air
tickles my skin.
Walking the beach
friends hand and hand
Laughing about yesterdays
and tomorrows
Laughing
For life with you
my friend is unlabored
Untainted by lies and betrayals
You are my friend, my brother
A anchor in a raging storm
I am relaxed
Not so jaded
Not so afraid
Your voice is this beautiful
instrument of calming tones
I sit in mesmerization
of the air flowage
across your vocal cords
Songs you sing are freedom
