This heaviness that pushes me into my grave,
I'm so afraid,
I've been gone too long to be saved.

What I would do for a little hope.
Some glistening light in the darkness that has overcome me,
But I have seen more than enough of the light that I need.

And somehow its never enough.
I find myself looking for answers to questions I never should have asked,
And scrounging for excuses for not completing my promised tasks.

Its too bad I've fallen,
because I was brought so high by appreciation.
Now I'm below looking simply for gratification.

All I can taste is pain,
I wish my brain was on cocaine. How long will this last?
