Containing the warmth of a single body,
A body of elegance,
Rising and falling
With every deep inhale and exhale,
So gorgeous the features
As the moonlight dances across her face
Illuminating her fair pale skin
And I realize that an angel sleeps,
Resting her wings from a day of flight,
A day of making the world a better sight,
I don’t want to wake her
From her peaceful slumber,
I don’t want to open her
Beautiful emerald eyes
But I must,
For the world needs her
Serenity in it again,
And I need her
Warming love and angelic caress
So now, as the sun rises
So must my sleeping beauty

Boundaries created by sheets
Containing the warmth of a single body,
A body of elegance,
Rising and falling
With every deep inhale and exhale,
So gorgeous the features
As the moonlight dances across her face
Illuminating her fair pale skin
And I realize that an angel sleeps,
Resting her wings from a day of flight,
A day of making the world a better sight,
I don’t want to wake her
From her peaceful slumber,
I don’t want to open her
Beautiful emerald eyes
But I must,
For the world needs her
Serenity in it again,
And I need her
Warming love and angelic caress
So now, as the sun rises
So must my sleeping beauty
