You are to me, as a stranger walking by on the street

I no longer have the desire or enthusiasm I once did
You have depleted me, taken my courage

I have stopped searching for you in the late night
You are hidden, the dark shadows conceal your face

I can barely stand here as I write to you today
My legs are tired, my mind overburdened

There is nothing you can say or accomplish
I am closed to your thoughts, your garbage

Pointless chatter accrues deeper attachments
Cut me off, send me off, with no memories of happiness

I no longer see you as the person I once loved
You are to me, as neither friend nor enemy

Apathy, I no longer care to see you become mine
You have wasted it, the time flies by

I no longer see you as the person I once knew
You are to me, as a stranger walking by on the street

I no longer have the desire or enthusiasm I once did
