I broke them,
Like my dreams,
I shot down shooting stars,
Forget who we are,
Cause we lost me,
Cause I lost you,
I forgot everyone,
The nights under the sun,
I forgot the words we spoke,
I love you never made it real enough,
Though,
The people who followed us,
Through the rain,
Could see I’d never be the same,
I left my dreams with you,
You stole my heart too,
I want them back,
I’m starting to lack,
Everything I wanted from you,
Now you’re gone,
I want you,
I need you back right here,
In my heart,
I felt you,
You felt me,
We were perfect,
Like calm seas,
We could last long,
We could dance for hours,
Here,
To the same old song,
Some say I’m just imaging,
Everything last night,
Left me stranded,
In your heart,
How could you put me here?
I had you,
I believed every word you spoke,
Oh,
You lied to me,
Like I can understand?
You took from me,
Like you ever touched me hand?
I lived for you,
You took from me,
I took from you,
Was this make-believe?
Or maybe true?
But maybe we can make this real,
