Came toward me,
Said he had a tale,
That was sure to bore me,
I said “Bring it on,
You flaming freak!
I got time,
To stay a week!”
He sat before me,
To tell his story,
Yet he was right,
It began to bore me,
When I awoke,
He was done and dead,
His corpse a- smoking,
A light on his head,
I puffed a cigar,
And gave him a twenty,
Said, “You won buddy,
Don’t look at me funny.”
As I walked out,
I began to wonder,
Was I asleep,
Or was I asunder?

The man on fire,
Came toward me,
Said he had a tale,
That was sure to bore me,
I said “Bring it on,
You flaming freak!
I got time,
To stay a week!”
He sat before me,
To tell his story,
Yet he was right,
It began to bore me,
When I awoke,
He was done and dead,
His corpse a- smoking,
A light on his head,
I puffed a cigar,
And gave him a twenty,
Said, “You won buddy,
Don’t look at me funny.”
As I walked out,
I began to wonder,
Was I asleep,
Or was I asunder?
