My little boy thinks he’s a Super Hero,
Wearing a costume from head to toe.
He’s pretending to be saving people,
With his imagination on the go.
He’s climbing the walls,
Making leaps in a single bound.
He’s transformed himself,
Right down to the sound.
When his mask is on, don’t call him Christian,
Cause that surely isn’t his name.
He’s serious about who he is,
And he’s not playing games.
*
Last night his mother and I took him to see Santa,
And he jumped up on his knee.
Proud of where he was,
He wanted everyone to see.
When Santa asked, what is your name?
He quickly took a stand,
While looking straight into Santa’s eyes,
He proudly said “Spiderman.”
