break my bones
but your words hurt
so much more
got me lying on the floor
reaching for the door
sticks and stones can
break my bones
but the lies you say
got me wonder why I stay
do I like feeling this way
sticks and stones may
break my bones but
the words you say
feel like death breath
my way there never a sunny day
sticks and stones I can take
but your words cause
my heart to ache
I know am about to break
with teary eyes
that rain all the time
I rather be beaten with
sticks or stones thrown
at me then to hear you scream
those words that made me
reach out and touch
death
