In hopes that we take lessons from these situations in order to not call time spent a total waste. Learn to watch out for all the snakes out there, especially the ones in disguise. No good deed goes unpunished. [bodytext] => Nothin but a flunkie,
Oh excuse me, I forgot,
You prefer junkie!
Looks like I fell for the same tricks again,
No longer considered friends til the end.
I have written this poem especially for you,
The one that claimed to be so tried and true.
It is all about you, here is my undivided attention,
Oh wait one second, I believe I failed to mention,
I am onto your trifling scheme,
So I prefer to be considered a long, lost, and fading dream.
From beginning to end it was tons of pretend,
To find a kind heart whose willing to lend,
I was left out to dry, alone in the wind,
One more reason to call you my fakest friend.
Looking back now I see a lame excuse,
A wanna be, a never has been with lips way too loose.
Go get that cake and hey you eat it too,
Remember to always remain so false and untrue,
Although my advice is to do it in a dash,
The life of a two bit hustler can be gone in a flash.
Robbing Peter to pay off Paul,
Will ultimately be your biggest downfall,
Step on the wrong heart and find your head busted,
And all that stuff you stole, fingerprinted and dusted.
You may never find another soul like mine,
To get you through that tough and lonely time,
All I can do is wish you luck,
Don't drop that soap,
Or in the rear you'll get stuck!
I would rather love someone that has a heart,
In you I found a shriveled dead part,
A wonderful man I thought you could be,
Problem is you'd truly have to care for me,
Karma has it's way of dealing with this life,
And handing out punishment for the ones that deserve strife.
It was never in your plans to honestly make me your wife,
Just to be a tough guy with a lil ol' knife.
Chalking this up with all the rest,
You truly put me to a moral test,
Playing with my life as if it were merely a game,
Before you could even remember my name.
Looking for success and fame that only hard work can obtain,
Others, I know will see through your pain,
Instead of identifying and sharing your emotion,
Someone one day will show you the same false devotion.
In this sadness you might even weep,
But not for the hearts not bothered to keep,
Instead for your own selfishness and grief.
As for me I hope to soon feel the relief,
For the weight on my shoulders was beyond all belief.
Someday my smile will shine in anothers life,
Brought together as husband and wife,
On this day my heart and soul will soar so high,
For all these reasons I must tell you goodbye.
