I've come around, I'm back again
I'm back to where it all began
And this could be whats been missing
And this could be the last for me

I'll lead the charge against my heart,
I'll sacrifice what didn't matter to you
I will ease the erupting pain

I won't forget, it's etched in me:
Stone memories and frozen smiles
But I will drain the emotion
And surrender the wasted time

I'll find a way, I'll never stay
Whatever happened is locked inside the past
I will ease the erupting pain

I won't miss this
I won't lose sleep
I've found something
That will save me [comments] => 1 [counter] => 207 [topic] => 54 [informant] => asthenia [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => happypoetry ) Your Poetry Dot Com - The Anatomy of a Renewed Spirit

"The Anatomy of a Renewed Spirit"

I've come around, I'm back again
I'm back to where it all began
And this could be whats been missing
And this could be the last for me

I'll lead the charge against my heart,
I'll sacrifice what didn't matter to you
I will ease the erupting pain

I won't forget, it's etched in me:
Stone memories and frozen smiles
But I will drain the emotion
And surrender the wasted time

I'll find a way, I'll never stay
Whatever happened is locked inside the past
I will ease the erupting pain

I won't miss this
I won't lose sleep
I've found something
That will save me
