I want to die instead of fight
I want to end this life of sorrow
So that it won’t happen again tomorrow
Because of you I fell in love
And was crushed like a dove

I wanted a lover and I wanted a basement
I wanted a husband but I found a fool
Instead of love, his heart was cruel
Because of you I didn’t want to eat
I pierced myself like I was a piece of meat
I cannot go on when it’s you that I see
I have a hard time just being me
