[hometext] =>
[bodytext] => Stone archways crown the
memories once lost, like outstretched arms
opening into oblivion.
There she stands, speaking to loneliness
and now you feel like telling her that
you're sorry
(but you just walk away, hand in hand
with guilt).
She glances up bitterly, and her watery smile
whispers the words "Go for it".
Out of the corner of your eye
(where colour washes into gray),
you watch her slowly disintegrate
and blow away --
like dust in the wind.
