and hated what she saw.
But there was something else that hurt her more
then all of her physical flaws.
She did not even know shed lost it,
she had not seen it go.
When and where had she lost her innocence?
I guess she will never know.
She used to hide behind her lovely childish charm,
it used to feel so safe.
Now she has to face that big, cruel world
and join that crazy race.
She never thought she was the kind of person
who would throw it all away,
but the joy and the pleasure outweighed the price
so she let her conscience stray.
Now she feels so broken,
as if she has lost it all.
There are a few mistakes she is sorry she made
with lying and alcohol.
Now she takes a look at her reflection
in that old, broken mirror.
She realizes that she has become
exactly what she feared.
Next she stares at the bottle
to whom she is a slave.
After staring in her own eyes she swears to herself
that her future now will change.
