[hometext] => Just a funny little poem I wrote, hope you like it
[bodytext] => Funny it does seem to me,
Although far from amusing,
Whose conflagration so confusing
Draws lines of hate I cannot see
Upon the withered night
A breed of twisted silence
Broken by a twisted will.
I lie and wait with deathly still
Lest I should miss the quiet violence
Inflicted on my dreams
Helpless to such hapless aim
That leads a vile, unpleasant fiend
Into my veins, my lifeblood gleaned
For sustenance and worthless gain
Of seconds to a charmed life.
You justify this unlawful trade,
This thievery in awful truth,
Of easy rest and priceless youth;
A morsel of my comfort made
To satisfy thy morbid thirst.
The night such busy work doth bring,
But rest be my priority,
Humbled by supreme authority,
I lie and wait for the troubled sting
Incarnate, by such a little thing.
