so alone and neglected
her dreams lay shattered
the love she gave rejected

Above the eerie silence
comes a whispered prayer
floating straight to Heaven
upon the cold night air

Searching for the answers
seeking wisdom from above
then a voice cries out softly
I miss you so my love

The softness of the zephyr
blowing gently this breeze
her prayers ride the wind
inside still longing to please

Amongst melancholy moonlight
faint echoes can be heard
whispered prayers are spoken
renewed sadness in each word
