And I made sure everything was right
No flaws, no imperfections
New Year's Eve was the night
I knew he would show
Right after the clock hit
And after the damage was done
After I made the slit
So I slipped in the water
And placed the clock next to me
I watched as the time passed
They were the last I would see
And right when that clock struck twelve
I pushed the razor hard
I slid it to make it hurt
Then everything started going dark
I pulled it back and slid once more
I needed to make sure it was true
And just as I started to fade
The last thing I saw was you
...and you look so beautiful in red...

I had made up my mind
And I made sure everything was right
