off behind the trees
upon a hill we sat and talked
about what people thought.
According to them we would never make it.
Through the years we would drift apart
amid the hardships of life.
Outside they only saw the problems.
Inside we only saw the best.
Throughout the hardships
beyond the years
Against all odds we made it.
Beyond all doubts we're here.
Inspite of everyone's thoughts
Apart from the dirty looks
In our hearts we know the truth.
Through our days we'll be ok.
Off into the sunset we'll ride.
Against all odds we made it.
