Upcoming changes and database problems
Hi all,
As many of the regular, or long term members here may know, the site is outgrowing it's database, or what the database servers can handle (according to the host); therefore, I will have to look at the site carefully, as I cannot afford (the site still makes a loss, I prop it up by aprox. $100 per month) a bigger, or better server, I will have to make changes where I can to the database, and particularly the code that runs the site.
To do this, the following changes will happen to make this process easier.
1. Soon, I will close all other themes except the default theme.
(this will make it quicker for me to test new codes, and implement changes, as I will not need to test in every theme). I know this may be unpopular to some, but once I have everything done, I will bring the themes back as I work on each one.
2. Over time the odd part of the site may go offline, this will only be temporary, as I do want to try and keep all functionality.
Where possible, I will keep this file updated, as to what may be effected at what times.
I appreciate your continued support, and hope that you will bear with us during these inconviences.

Just an update on how things are going......
I *think* I have managed to quicken up the site a little and take some stress from the database so far, have to see how it goes......
On another, brighter note, I know many have requested this, now, in the ˙our account" pages, you can see the poem title that one has made comments on, I did this whilst working on that area of the site.
On another note, going for a break now, has have been sitting here too long.

Ok, at the moment the site is running reasonably well, let us hope it says this way. I will keep monitoring it and making little tweaks here and there, and will post here anything major.
